How your baby's growing: By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.
We have arrived to the 3rd trimester! The due date seems so close & yet still so far away. But I think it’s going to come fast because we’ve got Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Years coming up & time always goes by faster than you want during the holiday season.
We have a crib now. We just need to move into the house we plan to set it up in. But first we need to either sell or lease our house. So please pray that one of the other (preferably sell) happens very soon. Last thing we want is to have to move in mid January or even later after Shaylin is born but really tiny & requiring lots of attention. We want to get her nursery done before she gets here, not after.
