35 Weeks Pregnant!

How your baby's growing:

Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that she's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it's so snug in your womb, she isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times she kicks should remain about the same. Her kidneys are fully developed now, and her liver can process some waste products. Most of her basic physical development is now complete — she'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.

Shaylin has been so extra active the past couple days. It doesn’t bother me at all though. It’s very comforting to feel those jabs & stretches. She gets hiccups a lot, too. Sometimes I can feel them on the outside but not usually. I’ve always had a problem with getting hiccups so it looks like she’s taking after me in that department.

Now with only 5 weeks till the due date we’ve finally begun work on her nursery. We’re taking pictures throughout the process. We’re pretty sure it’s gonna look awesome when it’s done. Our goal is to get it all done in 2 weeks. I’m so ready to set up her crib & hang her clothes in the closet.
