Whether you support Obama or not, after hearing that he’s been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize has got to leave you scratching your head & saying, “huh?”.
Facebook was certainly a buzz on Friday with plenty of status updates about the matter. I chose not to post anything on it since there were so many other people doing it for me. But what I did enjoy were those who were able to lighten the mood. Here are a few status’ that I thought were pretty funny & worth giving a shout out to.
Pete - Only 15 more Cheerios proofs of purchase to go and then I get my Nobel Peace Prize for reducing my cholesterol. I am so excited. I never win anything. :)
Ryan - took my son to McDonalds and got him a happy meal. He immediately asked for the toy that came in the box. He was disappointed, as was I, to find out that the toys had been replaced by Nobel Peace Prizes.
Erica - just purchased tickets for next year's Nobel Peace Prize drawing! All proceeds go to plugging the billion dollar hole in the Ohio budget!
Dustin - thinks it's logical that Obama got the Peace Prize with no accomplishments--he got the presidency with the same.
Andrew - I wanna Nobel Peace Prize too. I’m protecting our country. Can't I get one??
